My Granny was the artsiest person I have ever met, she love wood crafting and painting and simply making things beautiful. I must have inherited a bit of that from her because I discovered I could paint rather well and now I am taking a crack at selling my items.
Most of the things I have created so far or more catered to Christmas, but I fully intend to broaden out and hit the other seasons as well.
Sports is big here in the South and I live in the Knoxville area so most of the folks around here bleed orange for the Tennessee Vols. Then there is the house divided like my own. My husband is a former AU alumni and loves Alabama Crimson Tide.
These are my Vol Santa's. They were a hit this year and I had many offers to purchase them but I had created them as gifts. This got my wheels a turning and I am in the works of creating a realm of them to sell.
My first shot at Marilyn is on the end. She turned out a bit caricature but I think she is still beautiful and recognizable.
